To become a leader in the healthcare industry, Dianna began her journey at McMaster University with an undergraduate Honours degree in Kinesiology in 2002. Following her work as a kinesiologist, with underprivileged individuals in Hamilton, Dianna embarked on a diploma in Holistic Nutrition. Wanting to create a niche within the healthcare industry and a desire to treat the “whole” individual, following a diploma in Holistic Nutrition, Dianna began her Masters of Science degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2008.
5 years later, Dianna expanded her skillset to include being a manual therapist, completing a Masters of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy. This designation allowed her to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT).
The Hamilton sports community has utilized Dianna’s skillset for the past 7 years, where Dianna tries to identify the link between nutrition, injuries, health and performance for all her clients, from professional athletes and McMaster University varsity athletes to the active community member.
Dianna hopes to continue to share her knowledge to future and current physiotherapists through teaching and mentoring.
In addition, Dianna strives to keep her skills current and to provide the best rehabilitation to her clients in order to achieve all her clients’ goals and offer the most effective client centered care.

Sport Specific Rehabilitation
I grew up as an active kid, always running, playing, and having fun outside with my family and friends. I played many different sports throughout the years, never a master at one, but I loved the challenge and competitiveness of it all, and I was willing and eager to try anything sports/activity related.
It was my passion for movement and exercise that drove me to pursue a career in physiotherapy and I feel truly lucky to love what I do every day. Every body is different and I am always learning, whether it be through taking courses, tutoring at Mac, and also getting the privilege to learn from my peers and patients each day in the clinic.
My clinical interests are in treating sports injuries, from weekend warriors to elite athletes. Most importantly, I love helping people move better and get back to the things that they love.
Outside of the clinic, you'll likely find me spending time outdoors on the local trails, hiking, running, and biking, or exploring new breweries and local eats!
